East Georgia Health Care Center

EGHCC provides general healthcare services to the public, diabetes,

cardiovascular and health education on many health topics.

EGHC also offers prescription program for qualifying patients.

 

EGHC accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Peach care, and Private insurance,

with offices in Reidsville, Metter, Soperton,

Swainsboro, Mt. Vernon, and Vidalia. Every clinic provides bilingual

interpreters to serve LEP patients.

Best Practices

Outreach and providing primary healthcare in the camps, trailer parks,

packing sheds, health fairs, and where possible is our mission during

peak season. EGHCC has partnered with SEGCP to conduct education

and outreach for 3 highly populated Latino counties.

SEGCP staff teams up to register clients into this program and make referrals

to the clinics as needed.

Diversity Health Center News

Diversity Health Center in Ludowici offers an array of services

in rural Georgia. Vicky Smith, CEO is working hard to better serve the

Latino communities in Long county. Primary care is being provided

to many patients and is very much needed in Ludowici.

Families will know have a medical home for primary medical needs.

Marylou Caldera is in charge of outreach and Interpreting at Diversity

Health Center. Diversity has contracted with SEGCP to assure that Latino

patients know that they are there to serve them in their Language.  Marylou

travels over 400 miles a month to reach out to this community. She provided

education and information to those she encounters. She also serves as an

advocate to the Health Center, by assuring the patients that Diversity Healthcare

 is the place to seek primary healthcare.

WCLA 1470 “La Voz Latina del Pueblo” airs health messages, and advertises

Diversity Healthcare Center every Sunday. Radio listeners have options in

affordable healthcare services.
